A film noir neo-western about Idaho, local news, cowboys, reclusive billionaires, and the death of True West.

PLOT

Set across Idaho in 2006, Mirage tells the story of Dean Stanton, a young news videographer with a panache for telling local stories. When a reclusive billionaire makes the largest land grab in state history — The Size of New York City — Dean sets out for answers as rapid, unchecked growth spreads across the state, leading him to the realization; if you no longer recognize your surroundings, can you still call it home?

“There are no stories about Idaho.

Across the country, we’ve been known as Iowa, Ohio — The Napoleon Dynamite State, & potato town. Now the fastest-growing,

least affordable housing market in the countryit’s finally time to talk about who we really are, and what we collectively stand for… what better way than under the guise of a murder mystery?”
